💪 Main tasks

  • Conduct hydrogeological studies and provide engineering & consultancy and project management services,
  • Advise our local authority, industrial and SAUR Group clients on the proper functioning and operation of production facilities and provide them with hydrogeological expertise,
  • Recommending ways of optimising operations and proposing technical solutions to improve the sustainable use of water resources,
  • Contribute to the development of the business by identifying new customers and responding to calls for tender,
  • Participate in field campaigns,
  • Take charge of the technical, contractual and financial aspects of projects, while maintaining close contact with our customers and partners, for whom you will be the point of contact;
  • Carrying out studies into the protection and quantitative/qualitative management of water catchment areas: bibliographical study, geological and geophysical characterisation of the aquifer, sizing of monitoring networks, construction and instrumentation of piezometers, pumping tests, tracing, data analysis and reporting in the form of a study report;
  • To promote and disseminate the results (reports, symposia, conferences, etc.).

Profile required

  • Engineering degree or Masters in hydrogeology, geology or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in hydrogeology, preferably in a consultancy or environmental project management environment.
  • Experience in engineering drilling and rehabilitation work, wellfield management;
  • Good command of underground hydraulics (test pumping);
  • Experience of quantitative and qualitative management of a body of groundwater; skills in characterising geochemical backgrounds would be a plus;
  • Autonomous in setting up, monitoring, and operational and financial management of a project;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to present the results of studies in the form of a report/presentation/conference;
  • Project management.
  • A keen interest in innovative technologies and sustainable approaches to water management.

🔗Attachment to the post

You will report directly to the Design Office Manager.

You will join ImaGeau’s Technical division made up of a multidisciplinary team of 12 hydrogeological engineers, IT developers and data-scientists.
